Assumption University is proudly represented at the annual When Faith Meets Pedagogy Conference in Toronto. Conference participants learned about Assumption's Graduate Diploma in Catholic Studies and our work in campus ministry.
The Polonia Centre Windsor's leadership team, Mrs. Halina Roznawski, Dr. Barbara Niewitecka, and Mr. Steve Polewski arrived at Assumption Hall to present a special gift of $2,000.00 to support Assumption University’s interfaith dialogue work.
Assumption University and the Red Mass Committee celebrated its fourth annual Red Mass - a special liturgy that honours all members of the legal profession regardless of religious background. At the Red Mass, Mr. Peter Hrastovec was honoured with the St. Thomas More Gold Medal.

Assumption University congratulates Fr. Donald McLeod, CSB on completing his term as Chair of the Board of Governors at Assumption University. Fr. McLeod has served on the Board since 2015 and will continue as Immediate Past Chair. We thank Fr. McLeod for his years of service.
Congratulations to Ms. Rebecca Saad on her election to Assumption University's Senate. Ms. Saad is a graduate student at Assumption University and was recently elected at the Senate's September meeting. The Senate is the highest academic body at Assumption University.

Congratulations to the Amherstburg Freedom Museum on its 50th anniversary celebrating Black history and culture. Our Dialogue Coordinator, Mr. Michael Brown served as one of the co-hosts for the gala.

Congratulations to Dr. John Beck, Founder and Chairman of Aecon Construction, Dr. Veronique Mandal, Coordinator and Professor at St. Clair College, and Dr. Dan Andreae. All three of the honourees serve as an inspiration to the Class of 2024.
The Stephen Jarislowsky Chair in Religion and Conflict, Dr. John Cappucci presented his preliminary research on the Christians of India. We were pleased to have a large audience and to be joined by representatives from various faith communities in the area. @DOL_ca @TheBasilians
