The Artemis II crew accepted the Bobby and Pete challenge after being challenged by @SecDuffyNASA and completed 50 push-ups and 100 pull-ups in under 10 minutes. Better luck next time, Mr. Secretary! Up next: Zena, Mike, and Jonny take on the challenge aboard the @Space_Station!

We have an exciting opportunity for anyone who would like to contribute to our @NASAArtemis II mission around the Moon! We need a zero gravity indicator to join us aboard the @NASA_Orion spacecraft. Submit your ideas for our small, plush companion: freelancer.com/moon-mascot

A lot of activity last week for the Artemis II crew—a launch and entry spacesuit fit check, translunar injection burn simulation, and communications system checkouts!

A jam-packed week for the Artemis II crew — paying homage to the Apollo 1 crew, going through emergency egress exercises, and checking out the @NASA_Orion spacecraft ahead of fueling in the Multi-Payload Processing Facility at @NASAKennedy.

The sound of the action on this monster makes me smile.

Another productive week in the books: The Artemis II astronauts have been hard at work inside the @NASA_Orion simulator, practicing every step of their upcoming voyage around the Moon with the mission control team.

A minute of chaos in the simulator when a thrust vector malfunction sent us out of control during the perigee raise maneuver. The system handled it as expected, shutdown the engine, and allowed us to safely return to Earth.

27 seconds of peace, reorienting for our perigee raise maneuver soon after launch.

18 seconds of peace….wondering about the feelings we will experience 191,000 miles from home.

Whenever @Wiseman4th or I go visit our dad in Maryland, we walk up the NCR trail and send each other a picture of the 1 mile marker. It’s a tradition. Today, my brother took it to a new level and it feels like he has ventured into the unknown.

If I could go back and tell myself as a kid…….❤️

A place of honor ✨ To celebrate @NASA’s Artemis II mission patch debut, teams at Kennedy projected the patch design onto the Vehicle Assembly Building overnight.

Rocket? Stacking. Crew training? Underway. Mission patch? Ready to go. ✅ The Artemis II mission will embark on its journey around the Moon early 2026 — and now we’ve got the mission patch to mark the occasion.

In our sim this morning, we were fleeing Earth headed to the Moon at an incredible speed….the numbers always amaze me.

Whoa, stopped in my tracks. This single photo is right up there with the @NASAHubble deep field photos that have long inspired me. Amazing!

#BlueGhost got her first diamond ring! Captured at our landing site in the Moon’s Mare Crisium around 3:30 am CDT, the photo shows the sun about to emerge from totality behind Earth. Hope to have more shots to share soon! #BGM1
