One wonders why it is so hard to build a #sense&avoid system when the IR feed shows that the #UAV is very distinctive.
The use of UAVs & Drones carrying various sensors and the use of deep learning are increasing. We have integrated an Inmarsat SATCOM (Aviator200), LIDAR( Velodyne ), a DLRS Camera (Sony) and an IR sensor at the same time to acquire multiple types of data Within the same flight.
The Handoff feature built in GCS, enables the use of a single UAV by separate GCSs.The UAV,which could takeoff from a distant location with no LOS to the mission area, would be able to fly out & be controlled by the operator on the location once it is within LOS & comm. distance.
The CGT50-VTOL can takeoff from a table and land on a 5×5 m surface with high accuracy. This #Tactical #Unmanned #Aerial #System is capable of providing persistent surveillance and reconnaissance capability with the ease of transportation & deployment typical of smaller systems.
