My Dark Rey inspired lightsaber changes colors depending on its mood.

I made a functional Dark Rey inspired lightsaber...as one does.

Got my per/frame print time down to 15min using a 0.6mm nozzle. Next print will be a stack of 10! #3Dprinting

Just finished 50 3D printed face shields for my local trauma center. A big thank you to all the health care and essential personnel keeping us safe! If you have a printer and want to make your own, check out the NIH page for details: 3dprint.nih.gov/discover/3dpx-… #3Dprinting #Covid_19

Ready to assemble 50 face shields for my local trauma center. This is a great use for your filament samples since they don't need much to print. #3Dprinting

It happened again! Even the Johns Hopkins University Engineering Innovation Summer Program doesn't recognize TechEd or Engineering as a "Subject taught to student."

Made a solar powered Dangeometer to keep things running smoothly in my #makerspace.

I love being part of a holiday bundle. So cozy :) #makerspaceworkbench

Our #DIY @humble just launched, featuring $300 worth of do-it-yourself wisdom for just $20. bit.ly/2SVywMF Save + support @MakerEdOrg!

I just turned my @adafruit Circuit Playground Express into a universal 1S LiPo tester w/ voice feedback. Much faster than a multimeter! For source sensing, simply solder a 2:1 voltage divider between Vin, Ax, & GND.

I look forward to the day that the Common App recognizes TechEd & Engineering as something more than "other."

One of my students noticed a fly petrified in his @formlabs Form 2 print. I think we just stumbled upon the future of archeology. Scientists will now have to drill through SLA resin to extract their dino DNA.

In case you were wondering, Makey the Robot is the exact maximum lift limit of the Phantom 3 4K. Why you ask? I'm load testing my deployment system for the upcoming "Descent and Landing" egg-drop style engineering project. @make

Apparently my 1yr old Tile uses a standard issue CR2025 cell. Depending on your version/model, you can simply replace it and secure the case together with two pieces of heat shrink. Works like a charm!

What a lovely morning to start my 14th year teaching high school engineering. Welcome back everyone!

Testing filament from @Fillamentum by making a replacement 10mm FPV camera mount for my prototype 95mm micro quad. 0.08mm layers @ 25mm/s & 185C to maintain detail. Awesome color (vertigo grey), printed very smoothly, low stringing, zero warpage, and solid layer bond.

Thanks Adam for the great design and article in Make Magazine. You've given me a new hobby! I'll try and post a pic on Thingiverse at some point.

Several frames printed, now waiting for the electronics. Your whoop made it to the German make: magazine as well.

Tune in now and watch the PRISMSpace-1 satellite launch with the CRS-14 mission! It will perform a time dilation study and measure the micro-climate withing the ISS. My school students rock. @SpaceX @ISS_Research youtube.com/watch?v=wwMDvP…
