Ikaris wasn't used to a metropolis like New York City — Olympia was obviously different in terms of culture and what's acceptable but everything was just so. . . Different. “Quite the mouthful. I do not envy you,” Shazam was better alone.
“. . . Is that your superpower? Saying Shazam?” Not that he understood, but Ikaris has heard weirder. The humanoid started walking and doing things uncharacteristic of a mortal — like touching everything and even going on to stare openly at strangers.
“I am not dealing with you. I'm socializing.” The alien was trying his best to make friends, now currently adjusting the mortal clothes he wore. “Is this what humans wear? Casually? Feels like I'm wearing nothing. . .”
“It is fine, my friend. Shall we get nourishment?” Ikaris needed food after the day he's had, blasting about galaxies in search of things to do — hence why he landed back on Earth. Seemed like they needed more help.
