We haven’t seen any sign of one. Mozilla does some actual code review, but Chrome seems to auto-approve any new extension, increasing phishing dangers.
You know why it’s called Pull Request ? Cause Linus literally designed git for Linux Kernel. So it makes sense every computer is a full fledged repo which needs every bit of code otherwise how else would you PROGRAM A LINUX KERNAL! It wasn’t designed for your web app.
What Mozilla-isms remain in the Rust project today? About the only one I can think of is the use of "r+" for code reviews. I'm sure there are more though…

Who called it Pull Request ? It’s clearly push request. History of versioning that I know from my job - till late 2000s we had CVS - SVN came in as hot tech in mid 2000s - GIT became pervasive in 2010s I still prefer SVN over GIT.

Had a dream my code was being reviewed and criticized for how I handled an array. Not fun dream. I don’t even code much these days. Last task yesterday was advising my senior PHP dev on how he might want to direct his team. I did mention code reviews and pull requests 🤷🏻♂️
On the author side, be open minded. Try to understand the feedback behind the comments. Even the most experienced engineers go sometimes into a blind spot and could benefit from another fresh pair of eyes. Treat code review as a gift rather than a burden
When code reviewing, put your comments in forms of suggestions and questions. Instead of saying move this logic to a new class say looks like this class is doing a lot. Should this logic be in a new class? This keeps the review friendly and constructive.
