The only normal benches we have in Liverpool are dedicated to someone who’s passed away, this bench in Axminster was placed there by the council just for people to enjoy and have a relaxing sit down on! We need to be doing this sort of thing everywhere!!! - What do you think?

Welcoming Philip Evans to the council as our newest member. Cllr Evans was co-opted onto the council by other members and re-joins the organisation after previously serving on the council for a term in the 1980s, including a year as Mayor in 1984.
