After last week's eval-no-eval world war, let's go back to eval. My blog on Multilingual Cypher Evaluation is now live on Arize! But it’s more than just a read, follow along with the notebook, spin up an Arize account, or run Phoenix via Docker locally, and try it out yourself!…

Who is working to solve this? I read air purifier can’t solve this. I stay in Champawat, Uttarakhand, very low density and small district in Kumaoun. Unlike some places in Garhwal, we hardly receive any tourists. It’s peaceful in the lap of nature, but locals don’t want to stay…

We deployed our internal system used by a couple of teams on K8s back when K8s itself was unstable, because the boss wanted to show off how tech-savvy his team is!

We used Kafka + Flink + ScyllaDB for a project that emitted 1 record every 5 minutes instead of Spring + Postgres Why? so we could flex our "realtime data stack" and get promoted faster It worked.

The problem with large layoffs is a societal shift. If you think you have large savings or a secure job (government or anything else), and layoffs won't impact you, this is not how society/mass works. Job losses, whatever the reason, are not good for a society as a whole; our…

Sorry, if you think large layoffs don't impact you because you have a stable job or a large amount of savings and live in a gated society, this is not how society works!

Rollback 100%

The anatomy of a software migration of non-trivial complexity, broken down by time/effort: - code: ~10% - comprehensive testing: ~20% - operations: ~30% - client coordination + whittling away the long tail: ~40%

Layoffs are not because of AI. Layoffs are because companies want to buy more compute, so they need capital. Yes, this is precisely what AI looks like replacing human with compute.

At least use AI Agent for DM reply. Reply can be - no! Your idea sucks.

If you're a startup building in this space, let's collaborate. DMs open. We're open to partnerships, ideas, and co-building opportunities that push the ecosystem forward. 🚀

Seeing a brilliant young person go into web development is like seeing them get into hard drugs. Whenever possible I try to dissuade them 🫡 no kid should ever be subject to web development. The people who like it are either dealers or addicts

If you want to learn two languages should be 1. English 2. Mandarin

If you can only learn two languages, they should be: 1. one of (Rust, Zig) - will teach you to program at a lower level of abstraction, more aligned with the underlying hardware 2. one of (Haskell, Scala, OCaml) - will teach you to program at a higher level of abstraction
