Using AI for coding doesn't make you a bad developer. Not understanding the code it generates does. AI is a means to an end. You need to understand when to use and when to not trust it.
The less you understand software engineering, the more mess vibe coding creates. My head hurts after working on a vibe coded codebase for a couple of weeks. I've deleted more code than I've written trying to streamline the codebase.
