I didnt listen to vicente Fernandez a lot but he had an amazing voice and I did love some of his songs he's a legend for our community for a reason, he popularized the mariachi genre in the US may he rest in peace, sigue siendo y siempre será el rey.
This #HispanicHeritageMonth is about done but we have not seen any results, we want more representation in the media and in hollywood we are more than just maids and street vendors, our stories need to be heard and we deserve to be taken seriously.

I was only 3 when 9/11 happened but the thought of all of those people who have passed and how scared they probably were breaks mt heart and for those families who had to go through that grief. RIP to all of those lost, you are in my prayers.
The world is not black and white, the day we realize that and accept it will be the day discrimination ends.
