My RTX 4090 arrived... its massive. It weighs 4.6 kg, and the PS5 is 4.2 kg. I want to say, "This is the biggest they will become...", but that was said many generations ago.


This is so laughable. It isn't a "legacy feature" it is a "bug". Other engines actually drop support in order to improve, but #GameMaker just does their own thing I guess. Simple use of generics/templates would also solve the issue and keep the legacy "bug" if needed.

Here's the problem with #FinalFantasy16... It should be a 10-15 hour action game and just a spin-off standalone game. The "filler" is just as bad as a #FinalFantasy14 expansion and side-quests equally awful. However, without them its pretty damn good.


#FF16 is a good game but feels nothing like a mainline entry. It's more like a spinoff of #FF14. Sort of a standalone expansion with equally terrible pacing. The mainline games peaked at 12 and keep devolving with each new entry. Although, 16 is better than 15 (not hard to do)

OMG THE MARIO MOVIE IS AMAZING WTF WERE THESE MOVIE CRITICS SMOKING!?! Seriously it’s funny, it’s got heart, it’s full of thoughtful nods and Easter eggs and Chris Pratt does a good job! It’s got it all baby. You guys are gonna love it!!


Sometimes I realize I wouldn't be nearly as good a graphics programmer if I didn't submit myself to "making things work" in #GameMaker So much more to learn when you have to come up with a workaround for everything lacking in such an old API.
