On top of that I am not even sure a code audit would have found it. How many audits do an extra check of the release tarball? And how many would have found that a supposedly vendored script is actually malicious?
Y'all, it doesn't matter how overworked or underpaid the maintainer was. Virtually anybody I know would not have caught this. And, you only need one person to not catch it.
I was always joking that if your data is <1TB then you don't have a big data problem, you have a small machine problem. Now LLMs are here and make the point. Just rent an AWS machine with 320GB of GPU and 1.1TBs of RAM.

Zu der ganzen Corono-Warn-App Kritik: bei mir wurden bisher 9 low risk exposures gemeldet. An 7 verschiedenen Tagen, also auch von unterschiedliche Personen. Das legt übrigens auch schnell offen wer nicht informiert.

Die Datenschutz-Analyse aus Berlin zu Videokonferenzen wurde ja viel gelobt... Privacy Shield und Datenschutz-Äquivalente Länder erklären wir Mal schnell für nichtig. Es wird dazu aufgerufen Angebote nicht nach EU-Recht zu validieren. Viel Glück @Microsoft

Ok, also bald 50 Leute die sich per Corona-App infiziert gemeldet haben? Wenn ich das ganze richtig verstehe wird nur der Key neu randomisierte, wenn man also die restlichen Daten nimmt und die uniques counted sieht es nach einem Faktor 10 infizierten/Keys aus.
