Every day, I go to work, and I know that some ppl view me this way. I don’t know which ppl, but I’ve heard shit like this enough that I know it’s ever-present in our world. It angers me to see these viewpoints expressed by someone in a leadership role at my own company.
It’s so exhausting being a woman in tech; sitting opposite men who think because of my gender, I am soft and weak and generally full of shit. It’s not even worth it to say I have worked relentlessly for every accomplishment I have
Tomorrow! (What a mess. Apple gave developers zero hints about the release, then just drops it the day after the event without a GM. As if developer relations weren’t already suffering, this is just icing on the cake. Seriously, what is even going on with Apple these days.)
