Twelve years ago today Cpl Brian Pinksen of Corner Brook Newfoundland passed away at Landshut hospital Germany following injuries sustained in a IED strike. CPL Pinksen was a member of the 2nd Battalion Royal Newfoundland Regiment attached to 2nd RCR Battle Group.
