His company refused to send him with an assistant or a pump truck, supply him with proper safety shoes and was paying him £9 an hour on a zero hours contract. He said last month he tore a muscle unloading heavy goods and they refused to pay his time off sick.
Took a delivery today of expensive tiles from @britceramtile delivered by @SalvatotiLogistics. The poor guy was working by himself and after my slot had to unload *BY HAND*, five tonnes of sandstone slabs (from another company) to a domestic property.
