Sometimes I just have this homesick ache for the South, where I grew up with: down-to-earth neighbors who would literally do anything for you, amazing food, you never really meet a stranger and there's just a default setting to kindness in most folks. Anyone else?

California has been forced to cancel the massive bullet train project after having spent and wasted many billions of dollars. They owe the Federal Government three and a half billion dollars. We want that money back now. Whole project is a “green” disaster!
