#ItsAboutTime we see better pancreatic survival rates across the UK. Given its prevalence and low survival rate, pancreatic cancer should be given greater individual focus and not grouped together with other rare and less common cancers. Time for a #decadeofchange.

It is with great sadness that NIPANC has heard of the death of Professor Jim Dornan, who died in the UAE on 15 March. Jim, who was the President of NIPANC, the Northern Ireland pancreatic cancer charity, lived a life of public service.
So much has changed in the world in the 50 years since #decimalday Sadly the same can’t be said for #PancreaticCancer where survival rates have pretty much stood still 😢 Be symptom aware - early diagnosis is key
