Casey Mize returns to arbitration eligibility after Tigers declined his $3.1m option. They nearly went to a hearing last winter over a $25,000 difference before reaching a deal that included the option.
The Tigers have declined the 2025 club option on RHP Casey Mize. Mize remains under team control.

Riley Greene, who led MLB left fielders in Defensive Runs Saved, has won a Fielding Bible Award. He’s the first Tiger to win one at any position since Ian Kinsler in 2015, and the first Tigers LF ever to win it.

Josue Briceño just hit his fourth homer of the Fall League to right-center. 404 feet, 104 mph EV. He moves into second place in the AFL HR leaderboard, trailing only Kemp Alderman (5). Briceño is also 3-for-3 today. That's his third AFL three-hit game. He's played six games.
