Congratulations to all of our incredible dancers who recently completed their RAD and Royal Ballet ATAP exams! 🩰 We couldn't be more impressed with how our pupils conducted themselves. Every single pupil showed up with a professional attitude and impeccable behaviour.
Our Reception pupils are learning to code! They created their own challenges and used logical thinking to program their Bee-Bots to solve them. There were a few collisions, lots of giggles and some amazing "lightbulb moments" when they cracked the code. Great work!

Last week, Year 6 pupils were treated to a day of enrichment at the Senior School. They were immersed in a gothic atmosphere, engaging in drama, creative writing and analysis activities to spark their imaginations. Well done, Year 6!

Congratulations to Year 6 pupil, Scarlett, who recently auditioned for the English Youth Ballet’s upcoming production of 'Giselle'. Not only did she secure a place in the company, but she received one of only three awards for the most enjoyable performance of the audition!
As part of STEM Week, Year 8 visited the Senior School for a fascinating frog dissection. They were fascinated to learn how frogs breathe through their skin, contain antifreeze in their blood, and even swallow using their eyeballs! They worked with accuracy and precision!
Year 2 had a fantastic morning at the Senior School zoo this week! Having studied herbivores, carnivores and omnivores in their recent Science lessons, they impressed the zookeepers with their knowledge and observations! They met lemurs, squirrel monkeys and Drew the binturong!
Year 3 took their learning outdoors yesterday to the beach. They turned into Roman Engineers, working in teams to reconstruct Roman roads. They explored how these ancient routes were designed - all while demonstrating their teamwork and problem-solving skills!
Coco, our school dog, offers companionship and calm for our pupils. So many can't help but stop for a cuddle when passing by!

This year's Bede’s Prep Star Chef competition began last week with several "Cook Offs" to whittle down our finalists! Congratulations to our finalists: Sofiia & Irina, Lucie & Lolly and Lexie & Evie! We look forward to the Final in February!
Last week, we had a special visitor! Biscuit, the BSA bear, arrived to see all the wonderful happenings at our school. Biscuit is quite the celebrity, travelling to schools all across the country, and we feel very lucky that he chose to spend time with us. @BSAboarding #BSABear

This week, Mrs Morris had a wonderful time visiting Year 1 and Year 2 for some reading sessions. The pupils were very engaged and eager to share their favourite stories! Well done Year 1 & 2!
Over the last couple of weeks, we have welcomed the fantastic team from Lily Dean Training for a series of First Aid workshops for all our pupils. From understanding what to do in an emergency to mastering the recovery position, our pupils showed focus and maturity.
Congratulations to our dancers who took their Modern and Tap exams at the end of last term. Every single pupil danced beautifully! They worked incredibly hard in the lead-up to exam day - the results reflect that effort: every pupil received either a High Merit or a Distinction!
Last Saturday, Year 7 pupil Gabriel and Year 6 pupil Raphael represented Bede's at the East Sussex Schools Table Tennis Championships at Patcham High School in Brighton. It was a clean sweep - Gabriel won the Under 13 tournament and Raphael won the Under 11 tournament!
We are proud of our Year 7s in successfully completing their ISEB Project Qualification (iPQ). Each pupil selected and researched a question inspired by their interests and passions. Last week, they took the stage to present their findings in brilliant presentations.
