it's a little ironic that AI slop (full of security issues) is arriving at the same time as private companies are trying to defend that they can review millions of apps effectively. building and shipping apps used to be hard, and download numbers used to be a signal of quality.
if "re:CAPTCHA" hasn't learned the difference between bicycles vs. motorcycles, stairs vs. crosswalks, or what a traffic light looks like by now… what is going on
One of the core functions of smartphones that people can’t get away from anymore is maps and navigation. I would imagine that any AI device seeking to replace a smartphone needs to have camera to observe surroundings in terms of guessing current location and navigating the user.
