The Agarest franchise is something I will never tire of playing. Wonderful that it appeared on switch. Waifus wooing and breeding and marriage you can take anywhere. But it's endless fun in any version. The true love child of LOTR and Lodoss. Get it. Any version. Right now.
Some people don't listen to basic environmental truth. What part of not driving on ice do you not get? You kill yourself that's on you.
There is so much to customize in battle. Weapon. Skill. Spell Eventually your roster will be over 50, and they all have something to offer in combat.
Auto was so robust and satisfying in the first two iterations. It made that 150 hour epic just fly by.
Yes the logic is flawed. But it will serve you well enough to get to bosses. Remember, if even one of your party of six is still standing, you win. And if you level heavy enough, auto can eclipse some bosses too. But for true threats you need to trigger EX skills manually.
Agarest truly is endless because you can fight as much as you want. There is no hard coded battle limit. Against an overwhelming tide of darkness, such a feature is essential. Not saying you do it manual. That would fray the patience of saints. No, that's what auto is for.
