We are recovering from a software error at the moment and need to import "a few" million mails again. Service unavailable for a few hours.
An issue has been fixed with the E-Mail system. Everything up and running again on #bitmessage.ch

directory harvesting protection added. People can no longer find out, if a bitmessage address is hosted on #bitmessage.ch or not.

Account registration is reopened. abandoned accounts (no login for +180 days) get removed by the end of the month. #bitmessage.ch

Some changes to the E-Mail system were made. Please make sure to use your full E-Mail address as username when logging to the site or server
6000 users! We have also solved the issue with claws mail failing to connect via IMAP.

We just hit 4000 users. Also the "registration backend unavailable issue" has been solved!
3000 active users! I never expected such a demand for an anonymous E-Mail service!
The systen has been upgraded. New users will get a version 4 address when registering now!
