I always talk my minimally conscious patients ear off or play them music while I get then cleaned up, you just never know what gets through and what can make their days just alittle better
One time I said hello and introduced myself to an intubated, unconscious patient in the ICU. Someone else scoffed/giggled. I then proceeded to explain to the patient every step of the procedure we did. No regrets.

Yesterday my brother played his last game of baseball ever. He was taken out of the last inning with 2 outs, and tears may have fallen down my cheeks as he walked off the field given a standing ovation. So proud of you @bobosanchez4!!! Love you❤️!
