BIG news for transgender people from Japan: The country's Supreme Court has ruled - unanimously - that a law requiring sterilization prior to changing one's legal gender is unconstitutional. The decision removes a large legal hurdle for transgender people in the country.

Replies were locked so I can't easily comment, but: the session zero discussion doesn't need to mention mindflayers, only the relevant content warnings and expectations (eg. potential for the character to be physically transformed against their will)
But if the adventure sets up "hey its gobins.... BUT surprise, there are hidden psionic mindflayers" that's like going into the Matrix movie with "let me tell you what the Matrix is first"
