RHPs - there are a lot of pitchers in the upper 80s and low 90s in high school-at least more than before. Separating yourself from other rightys will be in command of zone and feel/sharpness of secondary pitches. And of course being a great competitor matters as well.
Families - remember it's called COLLEGE baseball, not BASEBALL college. With transferring at an all-time high and the need for chasing the 'better' thing - don't forget that the EDUCATION is still what will have the greatest return.
What a "Hitting Coach" Job Description should really look like: - good communicator - psychologist - relationship & trust builder - teacher - translate complex ideas/info to simple/clearly - growth mindset - understand movement “Swing Coach” is pretty far down the list.
