If you’re a UK journalist and you have not yet spoken up for Palestinian media workers in Gaza who have been targeted and killed by Israeli Forces - whilst relying on their testimony, contacts, video footage and sound as the bedrock of your own reporting - shame on you.

According to the Watson School of International and Public Affairs in Rhode Island, more journalists have been killed in Gaza than in both world wars, the Vietnam war, the wars in Yugoslavia and the war in Afghanistan combined.

Who/what to blame for current state of UK? Nigel Lawson, imo, not blamed enough for 3 damaging policy doctrines: 1. Energy is just another commodity that can safely be left to the market 2. Financial services industry should be deregulated 3. The trade deficit doesn't matter

Images out of Gaza today are the worst I've ever seen. Children piled on a hospital floor, bloody, injured, dying, dead. A toddler with her intestines outside her body while another screams in terror, reaching out for safety. I can't express this feeling. The rage, the shame.
