Great day of learning in @GaaBishopstown with @waynegoldcoach today. Wonderful insights into the why and how of coaching with lots of takeaways for our coaches, parents and players.
Huge thanks to @GaaBishopstown for the use of their grounds this week for training of our teams, the generosity from the Gaa community has been incredible in recent weeks.@OfficialCorkGAA
that claimed their inaugural win that year. 19 year old St. Finbarrs-Laburnum Lawns Jimmy Barry Murphy was the youngest member of that victorious Cork team and had played with the victorious minor team the year previously, which was Cork's 5th overall.
Delighted for @GaaBishopstown U18’s Cork County Champions. Excellent player and coach pathway in place to help people be the best version of themselves. Congratulations Pat Cuthbert @briancuthbert Larry Tompkins & @ijonesstrength - Play and Stay with the GAA
How many lunches were made by so many Bishopstown Mums, with the help of our friends from Mothers Pride. This van was a popular sight doing its deliveries around Bishopstown back in the day. And of course, a steady supply coming from Cuthberts as well.
We have a front cover. Hopefully, I can get to the back cover by the end of the year..
It’s time to have your say! Pick your Electric Ireland Minor Championships Player of the Week below. This week’s nominees are @GaaClare’s James Hegarty, @CorkCamogie’s Caoimhe O’Donoghue, and @LeitrimGAA’s Paul Honeyman. #ThisIsMajor
Start ‘em young 🇱🇻🇱🇻 11-12 yrs old with quick technique work in the ball alley prior to training who are 3 months into the AD Programme. Nothing fancy - just space, time & patience. 16-17 yrs old who are 15 months into their AD programme being intro’d to clean technique.

What a day for these boys and our school. A wonderful display of football from both teams. Thank you @sciathnascol for helping to create such wonderful memories for children all over our county. @cnambnaisiunta @AllianzIreland
Ian and Bishopstown have the best system I’ve seen so far for club GAA. They can accommodate 36 players in a session because they use their space effectively. By microdosing it before field work adherence isn’t an issue, progress is seen, it’s seen as part of the sport.
Start ‘em young… After 6 months of athletic development & learning on the pitch our @GaaBishopstown u12 Boys completed their first gym learning session this week. Well done to the boys & @SetantaCollege S & C coach Eric Curry for their progression. The future is bright! 🇱🇻
A massive thank you to all the coaches, teams, groups & individuals who have contributed to this point. We are all looking forward to continuing to grow & develop as we move into the back end of 2022!
All of this in such a short period has been made possible by phenomenal people from @SetantaCollege led by @DeasunO & @GaaBishopstown led by @briancuthbert.
