If you hated Biden because you didn’t want an old guy in charge and prices were too high and the government was too involved in the private sector and there was chaos on the street oh boy I’ve got bad news.
Confirmed this is illegal
Yeah I don’t think this is legal but I’m checking.

Confirming that the Treasury Dept's Community Development Financial Institutions Fund, which promotes economic revitalization in distressed communities, has been RIFed. Key thing here though: while RIFs went out Friday, the language is pretty clear that they're not tied to the…
The cost of electricity is rising at double the rate of inflation and that’s before all of these data centers kick into high gear and all of these cheap solar energy projects got cancelled. Buckle up.
I will cut the price of ENERGY and ELECTRICITY in HALF within 12 months. We will seriously expedite our environmental approvals, and quickly double our electricity capacity. This will DRIVE DOWN INFLATION, and make AMERICA and MICHIGAN the best place on earth to build a factory…
If this administration feels more martial and more polarized than the last one this is one of the reasons. This guy has a very specific view of the world and he seems to be getting his way.

The Trump Administration has $50 billion for a tariff bailout. They have $20 billion to bail out Argentina. The only thing they don’t have enough money for is you.
these guys haaaaaaate free speech

Argentina got $20 billion this week btw

Simply could not be more clear that the firings have nothing to do with the shutdown. It’s just people Trump and Vought have been planning to fire for a very long time.
Seeing that some impacted workers who were not furloughed are receiving RIF notices - employees that are designated as essential during a shutdown, but are now being laid off.
This is a matter for the legislature to consider and we should not pass a final National Defense Authorization Act without our branch of government weighing in.
Hegseth: "I'm also proud that today we're signing a letter of acceptance to build a Qatari Emeri air force facility at the Mountain Home Airbase in Idaho."
The Republican House has worked 12 out of the last 79 calendar days.
Laying off federal workers and doubling the price of health insurance was a choice. Making the price of electricity go up double the inflation rate is a choice. And giving 20 billion dollars to Argentina is a choice. They have enough money. They just don’t have any for you.
Republican C-SPAN caller to Mike Johnson: "As a Republican, I'm very disappointed in my party, and I'm very disappointed in you, because you have the power to call the House back. You refuse to do that just for a show."
Again, how are you supposed to get Democratic votes for a deal on government spending when the Republicans keep promising to backtrack on elements of the deal via party-line votes?
👀 On this press call with the House Freedom Caucus, Johnson tells reporters: "We worked on rescissions, and there'll be more of that, we expect, in the days ahead."
This is the problem--threat of acute political pain can only work if there's forbearance, but no real leverage if they're convinced you'll do it anyway.
Murray says RIFs could have happened anyway: “A shutdown does not give Trump or Vought new, special powers to cause more chaos or permanently weaken more basic services” “This is nothing new, and no one should be intimidated by these crooks.”
