Build 148 is ready for testing: http://bit.ly/uI9Vd - it should fix the GUI issues.
On some systems build 142 freezes. If your system is affected consider uninstalling Mail.appetizer. I'll release an update ASAP.
The development snapshot (build 142) seems to work fine. No serious bugs reported so far.
