Interesting article on the future of the old art-deco Inchicore public library. That doorway is a thing of beauty!

Here's something I wrote - unsurprisingly about maps. Thanks to @libfocus and @mise_eilis for the opportunity!

I love the design of The Cuala Press books - and the story of the Yeats sisters is very interesting, particularly given the time they were living in.

October’s Archive of the Month shines a spotlight on the Library’s small collection of beautifully published books by the Cuala Press and the fascinating story of the Yeats sisters, the publishing pioneers of 20th century Ireland ireland.anglican.org/news/10952/the… #RareBooks #printing

Interesting to see what @MarshLibrary found during lockdown: a book owned and signed by John Donne! Great talk by Amy Bolan #LAIRBG20 @LaiRBG

St Barnabas’s Church stood in Dublin’s #docklands for a 100 years. I wrote an article about it here: ireland.anglican.org/news/9255/mark… and it - unsurprisingly – contains parish #maps.

I just need something like this for Irish parish #maps and I'd be all set (via xkcd)

Really interesting talk about the Eóin Mac Néill collection @DCU_SCA by @lib_liam & Victoria Smyth. #archives, mapping tools, & #infolit : what's not to love? #LAIRBG19

This is grim, and is not necessarily limited to a Tory Britain #SaveOurLibraries

Never knew this about rice

Always fry your spices, always rinse your rice, always moisturise and never for a second accept fascists organising in the neighbourhood.
