CHRISTIANSBURG! This Saturday, there will be a Juneteenth celebration at the Christiansburg Institute! It’s a couple weeks late (rain date), but it’s still a great way to get out and show your support for the Black community right here in Southwest Virginia!

FLOYD! Come gather outside the Courthouse EVERY DAY through next Monday for a picnic and conversation about the Confederate monument. Organizers want to welcome any community members to bring signs and join the group, come to sign a petition they have on hand, or just talk (1/2)
AMHERST! Come out this Saturday for a march! I know it’s more Central than Southwest Virginia, but this is a very accessible event for Lynchburg people, so make sure to check it out!
