Why does the @StateCollegePD Chief have any say in a private business’s lawfully obtained liquor license? Shouldn’t he be fighting the crime he claims exists?

We love seeing our old t-shirts in the wild! Thank you to local cheesesteak dealer @EthanKasales for his enduring support of the student voice in State College!
State College? A student downtown? Well I’ll be damned! Remember to vote on May 16 to keep the anti-student codgers like Peter Marshall out of office.
Local 86-year-old councilman, who chose to live blocks from the campus of a 40,0000+ student university literally named "State College," decries that his town is turning into a "student downtown." Vote for Tony Sapia, Evan Myers and Josh Portney on 5-16. statecollege.com/articles/busin…
It’s no surprise that Mark Huncik, the Highlands Civic Association, and the @StateCollegePD Chief are opposing fair regulations for the opening of a restaurant and bar in downtown State College that would create 100 local jobs. #WeAre #ACollegeTown statecollege.com/state-college-…
Thank you to the @dailyitem for this entirely unrepresentative article, quoting disgraced former Councilman David Brown, for its condemnation of our community’s chief financial and cultural ritual. Except not. Move to Phillipsburg, Dave. cnhinews.com/article_eea736…
Congratulations to State College’s 3 newest presumptive council members-elect: Gopal Balachandran, B Divine Lipscomb, and Richard Biever. Can you hear it? The sweet melody of change in the air.
Results are still coming in this evening, but one thing is for certain: Cathy Dauler’s decades-long anti-student reign of terror is over.
Remember to get out and vote today! Change is coming to State College.
“Students have a voice. Do not think because you are transient that your voice and your impact in this community cannot move mountains.” Thank you Divine Lipscomb. Change is coming. onwardstate.com/2021/04/16/stu…
Cathy Dauler will run on her anti-student rhetoric for Borough Council until the end of time. Term limit reform is long overdue.
Just in: Mayor (and former councilman) Ron Filippelli and former councilwoman Cathy Dauler are running for State College Borough Council again in this year’s election
“When one speaker criticized [the Mayor] for cutting him off, Theresa Lafer broke in telling the speaker, "Shut up.” It is no surprise that Lafer and her other 3 anti-student cronies passed a budget without permanent funding for police reform. statecollege.com/news/local-new…
Our ears have been ringing since she was sworn in in 2008!

From the first time we met when BugPAC was still just an idea, Dan has been an inspiration to us all. Thank you for serving, Councilman. Thank you for showing us what is possible.
Hi @State_CollegePA. Moments ago I tendered my resignation to President Barlow, Mayor Filippelli, and my Borough Council colleagues - effective at the end of tonight’s meeting. It has been an incredible opportunity and privilege to serve you. Thank you for your trust in me!
It is a scandal that anyone as unbalanced and noxious as Theresa Lafer received any votes for anything. Register to vote in State College and end this reign of terror next spring. centredaily.com/news/local/com…

State College borough leaders condemn ‘new order Nazi’ comments made by councilwoman
Responding to feedback about the State College Borough masking ordinance, councilwoman Theresa Lafer called Brooklynn Wingert, a business owner, a “new order neo Nazi.”
It is not only your right but your civic duty to park your car overnight in front of Theresa Lafer’s house during home football games.
For a program that came into existence after loads of drama that I now understand are hallmarks of quintessential local politics, the Highlands Parking Pilot exits stage left w/o so much as a curtain call. Announced at approx 2:50 mark of tonight’s @State_CollegePA Council mtg.
Introduced by councilman @danielwmurphy, three other members spoke in support of the proposed resolution, which will be voted on next month after public input is gathered. (Story by @sneffwrites for the CDT) trib.al/1IcVajY
