I forgot my long acting yesterday and then today I had like 100g of carbs for dinner.
We know we have a very serious problem when we pay far more than any other country in the world for the exact same prescription drugs.
I havent had any problems yet, but its only been 2 days. Theyre so short I can inject at 90 degrees instead of 45.
I'm using a pen for the first time. They asked me if I wanted 4mm or 6mm needles, so obv I picked 4mm. But now I'm afraid theyre too short.
#T1D life is leaving the pharmacy with a full size grocery bag of prescriptions.
My fasting BG this morning was 97. First time I've seen double digits without feeling low since like.. months ago.
A1C today is 7.6%. I'm cool with that. My endo gave me the go-ahead to get tattooed.👍

@LastWeekTonight #Insulin4all is a direct response to an Rx crisis for over a million type 1 diabetic Americans. We need visibility.
Instead of a vial of lantus they gave me two pens of basaglar. I've never even used a pen before. How annoying.
