When they learn a skill and don’t make money after 3 months, they create a course 😂 Most of them don’t even have a working portfolio of projects they did for clients But they’ll slap “expert” on their bio and tell you to pay 20k for what they haven’t even practiced 😭
I spent the last 2 days working on my portfolio If you check it, it should tell you 3 things 1. This person can THINK strategically 2. This person can BUILD systems 3. This person understands the full customer journey It shows strategy & Execution.
Everyone builds tools. Nobody builds knowledge. Everyone builds infrastructure. Nobody builds expertise. Marketing sits in the middle of everything, and nobody is owning that space in Africa. 🤔
Stop sending all your emails at the same time. Test these instead: → Tuesdays 10am → Thursdays 2pm → Sundays 8pm Track which gets higher opens. Then double down on that time. Your audience has patterns. Find them. #emailmarketing
Most "email automation experts" are just selling you software. They'll tell you to set up 47 different sequences. But they won't tell you that 90% of those sequences are just annoying people on a schedule. Automation without strategy = fancy spam.
Spotify never asks what music I like. They just watch what I actually play. Then serve me more of that. Email marketers: stop sending preference surveys nobody fills out. Start tracking clicks and sending more of what people actually engage with. It's not complicated.
Simple automation hack: If someone hasn't opened your emails in 90 days, send ONE last email: "Should I stop emailing you?" Two buttons: Yes or No. The engaged click. The dead unsubscribe. Your open rates instantly improve. Works every time.
Your email list is too big. There. I said it. A bloated list kills deliverability, tanks open rates, and costs you money. I'd rather have 1,000 people who actually read my emails than 100,000 ghosts. Quality > Quantity isn't motivational. It's math.
I see a lot of folks learning AI tools because they don’t want to miss out on the AI Gold Rush… But that’s a wrong way of thinking… If you want to stay long in this game, stop learning AI tools and start MASTERING PRINCIPLES.
In marketing automation, the principles don’t change: 1. Understand the human journey 2. Use systems to deliver the right message to the right person at the right time 3. Keep testing, and improving Everything else (the AI hacks, the new “magic” workflows) is just nonsense.
Everyone’s screaming for attention: “Do this.” “Don’t do that.” “Buy this course.” “Learn this new tool.” “Everything’s changed!” The truth is: 99% of what’s out there isn’t designed to help you grow, it’s designed to keep you buying.
