People are starting to turn "male centered" into an insult, or dare I say slut shaming? Just like they did with "the male gaze" Which is a shame, because we would all benefit from decentering men, and there are genuine critiques to be made of people who are male centered.
We NEED to start emphasizing to young people that conforming will feel easy and grant you privileges. When their lives improve because of it they think they revealed their true selves and everyone else can see, when really they just discovered the rules to the oldest game ever
