A gaggle of Sephora girls demanded to know what perfume I was wearing today. One asked if it was one of the dreaded “killians” and I said no diva it’s Clinique Aromatics. Her jaw hit the floor.
I used to work in department stores and all the young sales girls would spray this and laugh because they thought it was so crazy. Thankfully @lotus__point revived its reputation by talking about it seriously on TPN.
They have no idea what’s out there beyond tropical body sprays and bakery shop “gourmands”. Much to learn indeed.
My grandma used to wear this and I kept it when she died and sometimes when I notice the bottle I spray a little and it’s like I can smell her and it’s nice
clinique genuinely has lots of slappers i’m really sick of the current boring perfume dna (everything smells like baccarat of delina or cloud like im soo bored)
This perfume was the absolute favorite of my great-grandma and my grandmother loves it as well. I recently inherited an old bottle of hers and it smells so dear, complex and enticing to me.
Nothing like a vintage, I get so many compliments with Cabochard. Almost cold enough to wear 😊
As @lotus__point wisely points out, Aromatics is best enjoyed with 3 sprays. I was always overdoing it with AE and getting nose blind before he mentioned this. The 3 sprays allows the wearer to enjoy it to the fullest extent.
