We code reviewed the Linux code for the getrandom rust crate 🦀 today with a group of 4 (Paldium, @HerrSpace, @ellcx, @kpcyrd) and couldn't find any obvious issues. 👍
yey @khaleesicodes 🙌 chkrootkit has some generic checks that are looking for anomalies caused by syscall hooking of eg. readdir instead of plain signature checks. Not sure if rkhunter has that too.
We started reviewing rust code today and submitted a patch for a typo in a comment in the getrandom crate. Fastest reaction so far! ⚡️

After our heap overflow in neomutt got accepted (huntr.dev/bounties/c2140…) we're now in the top 100 on @huntrdev 🙌
