Great work @AvrutinS! Was a fantastic session & great to see the importance of accurately observing, monitoring & modelling #mCDR being highlighted at #ICOS2024SC.
Great to see @AvrutinS from @GEOMAR_de presenting the results of her #OAE modelling asssssments on the NW European shelf in the @ICOS_RI #ICOS2024SC #mCDR poster session today.
Wow! Take a bow @E_Hammermeister 👏👏 Fantastic plenary talk this morning at @ICOS_RI #ICOS2024SC. Great to see such complex & challenging autonomous sensor deployments presented in such a clear manner. Also a phenomenal amount of data & work completed within 3 years. Well done!!
Not a bad breakfast spot today… looking forward to complementing it with some post coffee science at the @ICOS_RI Science Conference 😁

Come and join our friendly school! Great research, great students to teach, and a great part of the world to live and work in. Broad areas of interest across Earth’s surface environment: sediments, CCS, hydrogeology, geomorphology, carbon cycling, hazards… and many more!
🚨St Andrews Earth & Environmental Sciences hiring!🚨 Lecturer (Assistant Prof) in Earth Surface Processes. Areas could include sedimentary environments, processes, geology, geomorphology, stratigraphy, CCS, natural hazards, or many more! Closes 17 July vacancies.st-andrews.ac.uk/Vacancies/W/11…
Would have loved to be at the #NegativeCO2Conference today, but this might have been even better… great day collecting lysimeters & soil samples as part of our @lc3m_cdr @UKERW_GGRD evaluation of #CDR by #ERW… find out more at the @CO2REhub @ArtsatOFS event later this week!
Wait what?! 😳 Was not expecting this! I’m sure the reason ‘…we are unable to secure the right kind of financing to continue our work…’ has resonance & implications for many #mCDR companies - important that lessons are learnt and shared.
