I built a $1M+ product as a solo software engineer. No team. No VC. Just code, conviction, and late nights. Now it’s a standalone SaaS and I’m selling it. Here’s how I did it (and how you can too): 🧵👇

Hey folks, I building a small tool right now. Not the sexiest thing, but I’d love your feedback. -> sendti.me

hi, i am Samik. thanks to @subclip_app, you can read the text in the video

I took my time and I’m still working on transforming my PDF into a fillable PDF. Why? Because I’ll use it as a template to inject data from my app. But really, I still have to do this work by hand, area by area. I tried some online solutions but wasn’t satisfied 🤔💭

Just signed a new client, this one’s not in Brussels. Now I need to create a custom document they can download. Working on making the PDF fillable, then filling it with data from my DB.

You don’t need 5 devs. You need 5 paying users and peace of mind.

Rule #1: Talk to your users. Even if there’s only 3 of them.

Early traction isn’t a signup. It’s someone emailing you on a Sunday because the app matters to them.

You don’t have to invent a need. Just be the first with a working solution.

Your price says more than your tagline. Price based on pain solved. Not based on your own doubts.

Everyone talks about MVP. But real traction happens in the last 10%. The part where: - the button actually saves - the email actually lands - the support actually answers Ship the 90%. Polish the 10%.

Freelance isn’t a distraction. It’s cashflow. Don’t be ashamed to fund your SaaS by building for others.

Building alone isn’t lonely when you’re aligned. You trade speed for clarity. And that’s a good deal.

Some SaaS don’t need fancy branding. Taxis on paper. Invoices in Excel. Couriers on WhatsApp. You just need to show up.

You can work hard. You can dream big. You can grind endlessly. And still go nowhere. And still ship nothing. And still miss the mark. Only execution is progress.

Most people delay the hard conversations. - About price. - About equity. - About commitment. But every hard convo you delay creates hidden debt in : - Trust - Time - Clarity Handle it early. The price always goes up later.

Code merged to preprod. So far, nothing broke. We take those wins

Today is migration day —> NoSQL to SQL. Never thought writing a script could be this demanding. Every line matters. Every second counts. Let’s ship.
