Following up. I'm told that Ottavino and Dick Monfort had "informal discussions" before, but there is a chance the two could talk again, given the state of the #Rockies search.
Source: Adam Ottavino has spoken with Rockies owner Dick Monfort about the team's head of baseball operations opening. Ottavino, a Northeastern alum who turns 40 this month, pitched in the majors as recently as April with the Yankees. He spent 2012-18 with the Rockies.

Former Colorado QBs Owen McCown and Brendon Lewis went a combined 49-of-54 the last 2 nights. Last night, McCown went 31-of-33 for 370, 4 TD for UTSA Tonight, Lewis went 18-of-21 for 225, ran for 87 and a TD for Memphis #cubuffs
