Love this line from Readicide - “These books [classics found in the canon] provide our students imaginative rehearsals for the real world, and in today’s complex world, our students need as many of these rehearsals as possible” (Gallagher 93).
One of my favorite projects of the year. Students submit their portfolios and write a business letter explaining the grade they feel they deserve and cite evidence from their own writing to prove their claim. They have great reflections!! #AHSisFAMILY
