American suburban dystopia getting what it deserves

The wind gusts are devastating. Truly a hurricane of fire. Video: @stuartpalley

I would not be surprised if #Hamas butchered & decapitated babies. Let's wait until we have additional sources apart from the #IDF or one Israeli journalist citing unnamed soldiers with the IDF. Hamas is disgusting. We also need independent confirmation.

My Palestinian friend: "It started wrong, it is going to go wrong, and it will end wrong, from whichever way you look at it." #Gaza

"Israel pounded the #Gaza Strip on Tuesday with the fiercest air strikes in its 75-year conflict with the Palestinians, razing whole districts to dust" reuters.com/world/middle-e…

Plot twist: US and #Taliban now have common enemies, #Isis-k. We've already acted as their air force in the past (tinyurl.com/yhkcdjsk), so could we now ally with them in exchange for them fighting al-Qaeda/Isis-k? All human rights concerns then take a back seat.

The state collapsed b/c people were smart enough to understand the charade. Some Americans say that Afghans were unwilling to fight for education and freedom. Nonsense. They were unwilling to lose their lives for an illusive international project and gov't that stole from them.

As I'm listening to Biden's speech, I worry that it perpetuates the underlying fiction of many US interventions -- the "noble war" whose failure others are to blame for. The "noble war" fiction is the thread that runs from Vietnam to Iraq to Afghanistan and whatever comes next.

Biden laying all blame with the Afghan military. "We gave them every tool they could need, we paid their salary, provided them an air force." "We gave them every chance to determine their own future. What we could not provide them was the will to fight for their future"

The United States military is a murderous, terrorist organization. Joe Biden is not a failure, he is a successful war criminal.

President Joe Biden agreed to admit four times more refugees this year than President Trump did. But resettlement agencies say that Biden's indecision on the issue means the actual number of refugees will be closer to Trump's record-low cap of 15,000. apne.ws/adZaLVZ
