I guess I should start with what I want to accomplish: 1. Learn C# 2. Apply to UPS to be a software developer That's all I got for now.

Finally hit past the 50% mark!

Still here I swear, had a great Christmas just relaxing but work is picking back up. Regardless, I can confidently say that I understand methods now.

Just got done going over methods and finally implementing what I've been learning. Also been commenting more instead of taking hand written notes, only writing notes when I consistently get caught up on something.

Always down to try new techniques and I think this is something I should really incorporate. Great timing to hear this cause I feel as if I'm running behind my time line.

youtube.com/watch?v=VCWzQp… Shout out to @DorianDevelops for this video. I did feel like taking notes down manually was just eating up too much of time. I guess it comes from my medical background where I have to memorize everything. Great tips and habits to build!

Still here baby, still grinding!

Quick update: just went over methods and I still need to work on it. Been a minute but I did make a new project, just practicing with switch, if statements, and just overall logic.

That's been my few days, the grind always continues tomorrow! #beginnercode #csharp #selftaughtdeveloper

I'm digging how Codecademy gives sample projects but doesn't hold your hand through the whole thing. I'll admit I was very frustrated but once I realized that it's not a step by step tutorial I started to understand.

Not 100% sure how to use GitHub but I think this is how I share. It's been super satisfying relearning and finally building projects. I'm aware that these are just really small ones but being able to piece everything has been eye opening.

Update time! Not much to say but that I've started using GitHub and now I'll share two projects that I made over the last few days.

As per usual the grind always continues tomorrow!

Learned the IndexOf() and .Length functions are, I can see how you can use the .Length function into an if statement to see if someone's newly created password is long enough to meet the requirements. Again, going back to old concepts is pretty neato.

Promise that I'm still here, just playing catch up is all on Codecademy. What's cool about going over old concepts is that I'm starting to piece different concepts together now which nice.

Now that I’ve signed up with Codecademy pro for 50% off I feel like this is the turning point for me. I can do this, I will become a software engineer. The grind continues tomorrow! #beginnercode #csharp #selftaughtdeveloper

I guess it’s just hard to see my progress other than seeing how far I am into this text book. But I feel good, a second wind type of feeling.
