UPDATE: Challenge will be open on a regular schedule on Wednesday, December 11, 2019. Water has been restored to Far Rockaway and our buildings.
Our early dismissal today is due to city water issues. Stay posted to our website and parent messaging for updates.
IMPORTANT NOTICE: Due to a Water Main Break at Beach 19th Street & Seagirt Boulevard, Far Rockaway will have low water pressure for the remainder of the day. DEP is working hard to correct the situation. Senator Sanders' Office will be on scene & providing updates as they occur.
Due to the weather, @NYCSchoolBuses routes may experience delays tomorrow morning. OPT Customer Service Agents will be available at 718-392-8855 starting 5:30 a.m. to answer questions, take service concerns & provide information for families & schools. Thanks for your patience.
