Racing is expensive. Anywhere and everywhere. Indycar has one thing that no one sport has: the Indy500. Cost savings can come in a variety of shapes and sizes, having a V8 over a V6 or a car that weighs 500lbs lighter, is not going to add incremental costs. Costs come in the form…

Once Indycar moved into cost savings mode every strategic move was about how to save money instead of advancement of a product.
It's so odd to me that we never really advanced the sport. The cars are heavier, slower, and sound worse than 25 years ago. Safer, thankfully. But everything else is lacking. At least they race well, I guess.
Right now looks good @IMS for Monday, 50s/70s and dry…there may be a weak system moving into Wisc/Illinois on Monday…well upstream of Indy…but something to keep an eye on this far out still…I can update again this weekend when we get a little closer
Good Evening @Indycar_Wxman, is the Weather Forecast for the #INDYCAR Test at the @IMS Road Course on Monday looking good so far. I see Cooler Start at the beginning in the High 50's as well as getting into Mid 70's by the end of the #INDYCAR Test.
