Special measures including separated entrances & a screen to prevent a victim facing their perpetrator in a Non Molestation hearing should be a mandatory procedure by judicial system. Not for the victim to initiate & chase to make sure itโs done. #nonmolestation #domesticviolence
Fear from trauma caused by perpetrators for several years doesnโt disappear within 1 yr . A non mol is put in place due to the risks perpetrators impose due to abusive behaviours. Why after 1 yr are these risks any less & judges deem it fit to take it away? #domesticviolence
