It was such a rich and joyful morning. What a privilege to covenant with fifty faithful saints this morning to form a new church! If you’re in Chapel Hill or Durham, come worship with us on Sundays at 10am and 5pm!
Today, @TBC_ChapelHill was born. We covenanted together, called @bobby_jamieson and @abrahaMichael as our pastors, heard the word preached by Pastor Mark Dever, celebrated the Lord’s supper, celebrated a baptism, and sang! PTL. And thank you to CHBC and other friends for coming!

After weeks of genealogical research, I tracked down the living descendants of @chbcdc’s longest serving pastor: John Compton Ball (1903-1944). Today I visited with them, learned more about his life, and got to share what God has been doing at CHBC since! What an incredible day!

Saying goodbye to the Johnson’s. Andy has served as an associate pastor at @chbcdc for 25 years and is now moving to plant a new church. Thankful for his investment to this congregation and praying the Lord will use the Johnsons to advance the Gospel and bring many to Christ.
