No big shock, but Plur1bus is fucking awesome. Gilligan is at the top of his game here.

Had to learn how to pick a lock tonight. Didn't have that on my 2025 bingo card. This year's been a trip.

Both for writing and art, whatever you want the reader to feel, YOU have to feel as you're creating it. Love? Sacrifice? Betrayal? You have to invest yourself into the work emotionally. I feel this is a shortcoming of newer creators, and leads to a disconnect with readers.

Lets get it over the finish line!

Batman retired with Catwoman to Europe and less than three years later was beating the piss out of Superman. The audience understands that these are just stories. Damn, Hollywood can be stupid sometimes.

James Bond’s death in No Time to Die is causing a nightmare for the next film. Writers are stuck because Bond “was blown to pieces.” Anthony Horowitz, author of three 007 novels, says: “You can't have him wake up in shower and saying it was all a dream."

Keep a kind thought. My mom fractured her shoulder.

More and more, X is becoming indistinguishable from 4chan. We still post about nerd shit here, right? Or is it all in-jokes and gossip?

This is activism infesting, consuming and finally cosplaying as punk. Whatever happened to question everything, answer truthfully? Losers.

But then I hate myself for thinking that of others.

Having any wisdom is both a blessing and a curse

I've said for close to two years now, ai is useful for proof of concept and clerical work. I've used it to get ideas across to artists, and compile notes into series bibles. Past that, it really can't handle anything creative or mentally taxing. Not yet, at least.

I think the real purpose of AI is a convenient excuse to thin the herd and participate in a digital land grab. I think it's capabilities are being massively oversold. It's a helpful tool, but it still needs human oversight. The more you use it, the more you will realize this.

Finally finished Lazarus. It's great. You have to meet it on its own terms, and accept that it was never meant to feel like Bebop. A slow-burn meditation on the end of the world, and what it would take to save it. Solid watch.

Underwater is an awesome bug hunt movie with Lovcraftian undertones.

Highly underrated and utterly misjudged movie.

Just live your life. The majority of the human race, spread across all time, wish they were you. As St. Hicks pointed out, its a ride.

Man, comics and movies are always it for me. No matter the state of my life, no matter the state of the world. I always come back to them, and they make it all bearable. Thank you for allowing me to tell stories. I've got some great ones for you in 26.

Frankenstein was a hell of a thing. Obviously the movie Del Toro was born to create. One of the most visually rich films I've ever seen- its just so well composed, and there's something to look at in every corner of every shot. Beautiful. See it on the big screen.

Three bucks at a local thrift shop. Not a huge pop fan, but totally worth it.
