Very impressive thunderstorm outbreak overnight and ongoing this AM across much of NorCal (roughly SF N-ward). Storms were elevated, and brought relatively little rain at surface, but numerous lightning strikes and even some larger hail have been reported thus far. #CAwx #CAfire

An additional five crews are mobilizing today from Redding to assist with fires in Alaska. Elk Mountain, Modoc, Mad River, Eldorado and American River Hotshots are headed to help with the many wildfires currently burning in Alaska.
Crews from California are making themselves at home on the fire line in Canada. Helping our partners in the north are Zig Zag, Happy Camp, Shasta Lake, Fulton and Arrowhead Hotshots along with various overhead. #ChuckeggFire

Overnight a Strike Team of Engines from the Shasta Trinity was dispatched to assist Sand Fire firefighting efforts in Yolo County. #SHFFire
U.S. Forest Service firefighters are responding to assist on this incident.
