Important paper showing that the ferritin level cut-off for women (15micrograms/L) recommended by the WHO is wrong. Based on US NHANES data they show that the physiologically important cut-off for women is 25 micrograms/L. tinyurl.com/dhu33hm

One of the biggest things lost in remote work is chance meetings. These are very important, but hard to quantify. If you measure productivity on individual projects, everything will seem fine. Yet when you read stories of how things happened, chance meetings were often crucial.

The London Nightingale Hospital was "built" in 10 days to house up to 4000 COVID-19 patients at a time but has treated a total of 51 patients before it was closed. If only the same effort was directed to making PPE.
